Tyler Perry Offers $100K Reward In Missing Persons Case
Even though I can’t say I’m too much of a fan of his movies, I do give Tyler Perry all types of credit for getting involved in anything that catches his interest, from the big Hollywood movies to the unknown stories like this one. WENN is reporting that Tyler has stepped up and offered a $ 100,000 reward for information regarding a decade old missing persons case in Florida.
Terrance Williams, 27, and Felipe Santos, 23, disappeared from Naples just three months apart in 2003, after separate encounters with Collier County Sheriff’s Deputy Steven Calkins. The men were never found, and on Thursday Perry spoke at a local news conference, calling on the media to give appropriate attention to the story – even though both victims are minorities.
And it seems that Steven Calkins was fired from his job from the sheriff’s office back in 2004 after he refused to cooperate with law officials during the investigation. Sounds like some shady type mess! Hopefully Tyler‘s generous reward will get some concrete information in and this case can be closed.Similar Posts:
